Photos: Ground Zero - Broward County Florida - VOTE EARLY!!!
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 04:27 PM by OutsourceBush

Lines outside of earling voting facility in Broward County, FL at noon Wednesday 27 Oct, 2004.

Lines wrapping inside earling voting facility in Broward County, FL at noon Wednesday 27 Oct, 2004.

I highly recomend voting early as lines will only get worse, and are expected to be severe on Nov 2.

***Avoid lunch crowd and after work crowd for smallest lines***

3. If you are voting in Orange county
try the supervisor of elections office on Kaley Ave. first. I drove voters to the polls yesterday, and there was a THREE HOUR wait at the libraries. The wait at the Kaley office was 15 minutes.

18. Wow. I'm amazed. I'm glad I did absentee ballot instead.
My two year old son couldn't have tolerated that kind of wait.

7. "we need a right wing dictator"

That's what this Bush supporter said. He was from Cuba. After an issues debate and him waving a swiftboat liars flyer at me (his left hand) he says "how could you vote for this man?". He says, "we need a dictator". I said, where are you from? He said Cuba. I said, why didn't you just stay there in Cuba if you want a dictator. That makes no sense. (Thought I had him on that one, but noooo!) He then said, "no, we need a right wing dictator, not a left wing dictator". I can't make this stuff up, some of these bush people are just totally nuts!

13. Couldn't ask for a better recommendation for Kerry than that fellow
It wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't actually a Kerry supporter in disguise. I can't believe even the Freepers could be that stupid.

10. How long did it take for people to vote?
I mean, from the time they got in line until after they actually cast their votes?

19. Ridiculous isn't it?
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 07:28 PM by babyreblin
I've never seen a hummer before moving down here. I used to live in Maine. I've seen tons of hummers in Orlando. It's so dumb. Who wants a big ass vehicle like that in the city? It seems to be a status symbol around here. It proves you're rich if you own the biggest, most expensive vehicle you can find.

14. Great pics - where is that?
I voted around 3:30 this afternoon. It took about an hour and a half. The woman who checked me in said 90,000 people in Broward had voted early. I thought about that for a minute and went back and asked her as of when. She typed in her little laptop and said in "real time" it was 90,15?. Yep, laptops all tied into one computer somewhere.

4 watchers and no trouble. The whole wait was pretty reverent. Took a 1st time voter yesterday and he just looked at the line and then at me and said quietly "These people are voting for change."

There is NO WAY * will win Florida this time legitimately. NO WAY!
