......I was thinking of Sen Byrd last night and the eloquence with which he has derided the GOP and members of his own party for not rising to the occassion to oppose the NeoCons from the get go....with WV in the balance, could a letter/email campaign from DU directed to all of the newspapers in WV, thanking them for their elder statesmans leadership have any effect upon that balance....a recent KY Federal courts decision eliminating the pensions for approximatly 4,000 coal miners surely has struck a nerve in the WV body politic.....just a thought....Best Wishes

1. I Agree

I agree that a campaign to show appreciation for our Democratic leaders is in order. People should take pride in the fine leaders the Democratic Party has as it members and Senator Byrd is certainly high on the list of those we should honor. I'll write Morgantown's Dominion Post tonight.
