I met a Marine back from Iraq who won't be voting for Bush again
This conversation really made my day.

I was politely debating the Iraqi war issue with someone who agrees with the war but is an undecided voter (odd, I know). All of a sudden, a man at the table next to us looks up and says to the person I was speaking to "Do you really think this war is worth more American lives?"

Turns out this man was a Marine back from Iraq. He voted for Bush in 2000 but regrets his vote and will not vote for Bush this time. He still talks to some friends he has that are still over there and they tell him it's getting pretty bad. Suffice it to say, he wasn't very happy.

And by the way, keep in mind this Marine is Texan as well. (and totally not relevent but he was HOT :) )

2. My son is a good-looking Marine from Texas!
But fortunately, he hasn't gone to Iraq. He's stationed in Japan -- and adamantly opposed to Bush*!

not voting for him. He's being sent back to Iraq this month, and he's being transferred away from his usual artillery role, to... you guessed it: guarding convoys.

He is not happy with Bush at all.
