It is not very well known, but HM the Queen is quite liberal in her personal politics, even though her role requires her to be apolitical. She opposed the war in Iraq and her relationship with Blair is so cold it is frozen. She loathes the Bushes, and the State visit was a disaster. I have to feel sorry for her when I see this photo. I wish she would have hit * with her handbag. :).
