They stole all the Kerry signs on the main drive through my neighborhood.

On my drive home tonight from a late gig...I drove home the way I always do...up 17th street here in Denver. Beautiful street. Lots of mammoth trees...and has been littered with Kerry lawn signs. It's a main through street in our neighborhood (Park Hill) and has a 20 to 1 favor over Bush signs.

Thats why I love to drive home that way...very scenic...and tons of signs.

But tonight...driving down the street at 2 AM...all the signs were gone...for EVERY house. My guess is about 35-40 houses.

I'm so pissed right now. I can't believe how unbelievably angry I am right now. I don't want to say what I could do...in fear it could be used against me later.

I don't know what to say...but it ruined a perfect day.

1. Sign stealers and defacers are such low life scum. That includes anyone

who does it on both sides. If you don't like a sign, go put one of your own up, don't destroy other people's property. It is such a low class thing to do. It's not like it really makes any kind of difference anyways. It's just a stupid sign, and it will just be replaced. People need to find more productive ways to express their political opinions----like coming online here at DU and ranting like me. :hi:

And as far as what you could do? Do the same thing the rest of us here are going to do -- go to the polls Nov. 2. That will be the best revenge.

Stuff like this makes me mad, too. But they will be gone by Jan. 20.

Make a stink.

Try to find out if there are any pictures of how the street looked before. Maybe some of the homeowners took photos.

4. I was driving a giant Chevy 15 passenger van at the time....

and I caught myself wishing I could catch them so I could barrel that bohemith right into their friggin' vehicle.

I really scared the crap out of myself...as I've never felt so driven to violence. It took me about thirty seconds to come out of it. In that half a minute before I calmed myself...I am just so thankful I didn't actually see them. I would've obliterated them with the beast I was driving.

5. I only go out every few days so it is sort of fun

Some days Kerry signs out number Bush 2 to 1 and some days it is the other way. Who did not say we have new jobs in this country? Their are 4 right their. One to make the signs, one to put up signs and one to take them down and me to count them. All well paid jobs with medical insurance. OK I am really a freeper.

Saturday all the Kerry signs were gone from the main drag. When we went to church on Sunday morning, all the Bush signs were gone, too.
