After the election we need to run ads to improve Dem party's image
I don't personally think the image of the Democratic Party is bad but I heard a repug spokesman state for the billionth time that the Democratic party is the party of northeastern "Harvard" and Hollywood elites.

I have an idea for an ad campaign that the Democratic party could run year round to change the image that the repugs have painted us with. Very simple 30 second spots. Start with a wide shot and then slowly zoom in on a normal person, ie farmer, store clerk, soldier, student, fireman, whatever, and have them state, "I am a Democrat". People of all races, occupations, religions, etc. Very simple, very tasteful, no attacks on Repugs, and it makes the viewers see that Dems are no different than they are.

It's amazing that the republican party has gotten away with making the Democratic Party into the party of rich white guys, since that's exactly what they have become. We need to make people see that they've been misled.

2. That works for me
Dean is the only politician I've ever felt compelled to donate money to. He was my early pick but I'm behind Kerry all the way. I still have nothing but respect for Dean.
