Last night in Busch Stadium, the Boston Red Sox broke the 86-year-old “Curse of the Bambino” by beating the St. Louis Cardinals and winning the World series.
Could there be some symbolism here? Could it foretell something like the following?
A Force from Massachusetts breaks the curse of the Bambino Bus(c)h #43 (86/2), defeating the forces of religious fascism (‘college of cardinals,’ q.v.)
