I’m putting my marker in now. The old dude dies (as all old dudes eventually do) and the gates of hell will open up for real.

Although one could accuse Arafat of being as murderous a bastard as any of the personalities over there…. Especially in his youth, he did keep a lid on the more radical fringes on his side of the Israeli/ Palestinian Crisis.

Things will go especially badly if * is remains in office, hatred for us will continue to rise. There will be many more terrorist attacks (perhaps some here on American soil) some related to the garbage we have already participated in and some because of our relationship with Israel. Believe it or not, Arafat was a moderate voice.

This is a real case of "the devil we know may be better than the devil we don’t know"
