The same ones who bitch about AAR all the time...
I love all the shows I listed...some people seem to freak out when their sensibilities get hurt...

...of not voting. I doubt that "sensibilities" has that much to do with it.

It kind of struck me as odd. Since apparently Stone and Parker went around telling people that if they didn't know anything about the issues, they should just stay home. The message of the episode was, "Every election is between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich. So you have to decide which one you dislike the least". Which, I suppose, is the message most likely to appeal to apathetic voters.
Though it should be noted that Cartman (normally the force of evil on the show) was the Bush supporter. ;)

Yeah, I guess you're right, Bush was the turd sandwich, and Kerry the giant douche...

18. I think that until bush showed us what total incompetence can do... |
|
they were right. However, as my friends and family have babies, as I hope to in the next few years as well, I feel more invested in the future than ever before. These two factors have turned me into an angry voter ready to take the system back from both the giant douches and the turd sandwiches. If Matt and Trey still feel politically impotent, they probably are. At least they won't be voting against us.

Why would you hate Eminem?
I don't care for him personally (his music) but he's pretty anti Bush.
And South Park is hilarious and I miss Stern so bad. Crucified by the religious right down here in Florida.

I thought South Park was pretty funny last night. I mean, how many times have you voted and thought you were voting for the lesser of two evils? The giant douche in a landslide!
Have a drink... :loveya:

are on the 2000 script - "voting is so uncool - I am above this shit" Jon Stewart, Eminem, Bill Maher - and other , better hipsters kept up with the times (in a reality based sort of way). So. you mixing it all up, shows you should stay home on Tuesday and eat your sandwitch while giving yourself a douche.

The only group on the list that actively encourages apathy is the Stone-Parker duo. South Park is funny (most of the time) but they are actively pushing a 'stay at home, it all blows' mentality...which I agree is so 2000....not to mention irresponsible and boring. :)
