Hypocrisy of Religious Fundies Against Stem Cell Research |
|
If the fundies were true "advocates" for the unborn, then why aren't they out there calling for the end of "in vitro" fertilization? And the science of unnaturally producing test tube babies, which inevitably ends up with at least a few unused embryos locked up in a cryo-tank, or just plain destroyed. I know of no law against the discarding of unused embryos from fertility clinics, and I don't see these religious nutcases pushing any similar legislation to be thrown onto the GOP platform. And another thing, if they are so pro-life, why aren't they pushing bills relaxing the rules for adoption for singles or same-sex couples? Or how about giving tax break incentives for couples choosing to adopt versus dumping thousands of dollars on producing a child by the unnatural means of fertility science?!! Such go damn hypocrits they all are!!! I am not against in virto fertilization, if you want to have a child composed of your genes with the help of a fertility clinic, thats absolutely fine by me. I'm a very firm believer in stem cell research and I just find it so hypocritical that religious fundamentalist can be so against stem-cell research, but turn a blind eye to the science of in-vitro fertilization, which btw is used almost always exclusively by the wealthy and elite. And another thing, I gurantee you that when they do refine the usage of embryonic stem cells for, which will inevitably happen by labs overseas, the first ones to get in line and reap its benefits will be the dementia ridden, millionaire, Pat Robertson and Jerry Fawell, fundie lunatics with the boat loads of money they leeched over the years from the ignoramous followers who foolishly supported their retarded crusade without having half a brain to think for themselves.

2. An even more glaring failure is |

with control of SCOTUS, Congress, AND The White House, the supposedly pro-life GOP can't seem to pass a bill regulating/prohibiting third-trimester abortions that pass constitutional muster.
