Freepers attacking The Boss on Amazon.com
Man, the freepers are up in arms - they are so angry about his Kerry support that they are currently trashing his albums on Amazon.com

Their heads are exploding!

I was surprised to see that 7 out of 11 people found this maniac's review "helpful" - I would think that thinking people with an Amazon account would want to correct this...

9. I've tried that a few dozen times
I even wrote emails about the supposed "reviews" that were nothing but political statements. Hell, some of them don't even mention the book/CD/DVD. I received an email that they would "look into it". Whatever. All the money I've spent there and now I can't even stand to browse the site.

10. Exactly. There are a lot of slimy, pathetic morons out there
who, after hours of listening and masturbating to Rush, OReiley, and Hannity, consider themselves intellectual and well informed. So they go on places like this and write the most fascist, bullshit, hateful, crap that they can think of and then act as though they have been published.

So, I say report this. Its not a review of the album. Its a bunch of lunatic right wing talking points that, despite being completely irrelevant and based on the poorest logic around, still seem to be pretty popular with your average racist, sycophantic Bushbot.

2. Let them have their last hurrah - the Boss can take it
So few artists actually support * now, it's really amusing to watch the freeper tantrums. They just can't understand how virtually everyone in the entertainment industry can be so wrong!

3. Here's what's sad...
With all they rockers coming out in support of Kerry, they can't afford to boycot their music. What would they be left with but a few country has-beens to listen to?

5. What would they be left with?
Just slap on a mixed bag of Southern rock (.38 Special, ZZ Top, the Marshall Tucker Band, the Dickey Betts Band and the remnants of Skynyrd all played the Republican convention), country from Travis Tritt, Loretta Lynn, Hank Jr., Charlie Daniels, Lee Ann Womack and Mark Chesnutt; some whitebread pop from Britney and Jessica, white-boy blues from Jonny Lang and Aerosmith, some Ramones (in honor of Johnny), some Alice Cooper, a little token rap from Kid Rock and almost every form of Christian music and you'll be done. Oh, yeah, you'll need some Nuge, too. (It's interesting to note that at the Republican convention, it was generally the Christian performers that played at the official event. The hell-raising acts mostly were confined to the parties around the fringes.)

This from John Nova Lomax's column in the Houston Press. He's suggesting soundtracks for election night parties; the Republican music will begin with his own mix of "Proud to be an American" interspersed with some inspirational phrases from Zell Miller's speech at the RNC. (Recounted in my own thread that sank like a rock.)

12. Aerosmith? Not!
I think not -- aren't they from Boston?

http://theedge.bostonherald.com/musicNews/view.bg?articleid=32945

Tyler quote from the article:

`John (Kerry) and I are good friends. I speak to him a lot. Unfortunately, we're playing the night he's doing (the convention). He asked if we'd play it. I told him if he's elected president, on your inaugural, we'll play.

``Each guy (in Aerosmith) has got different opinions. I think all the presidents have a downfall. They try to do as much as they can egotistically. They say `for the people' and `of the people,' but it's not always that. It's for their own star.

``John Kerry's a different kind of guy. When you're talking to him, you feel you're talking to a guy who's had a lot of experience. He looks you square in the eye. He has a really strong belief system. I'm a big John Kerry fan. ...

There's a picture of Tyler and john Kerry together somewhere...it was posted on DU a few weeks back.

Maybe the Bush campaign could just photoshop Aerosmith into a picture with Bush?

15. The Ramones? Never would have considered them a Repub
band... Hope that list is wrong there, they were one of my guiding forces in the 70's.

What is it about them, that ANYONE who supports somthing EXCEPT monkey-boy they make it their mission to try and tear down?

For the record, Bruce supported action in Afganastan. When Bush LIED to the nation, Bruce got more than pissed, he got motivated to actually do something about it.

Can any of them say that from behind their keyboards?

Bruce knew that he was going out on a limb, but he is a man of honor, something the freepers know NOTHING about.

So, I am also going to be a man of action. BEFORE election Day (actually Saturday) I will make MP3's available of "No Surrender" from the Vote For Change Tour available here. Download them, burn them, and BLAST them when pulling into the parking lot of your polling place when you go to vote! Your choice, the DC version, or the Jersey version with Eddy Vedder.

They just crossed the line with me. Time for some action.

8. Who would bother taking the time to read that diatribe?
Of course the one posted right after that was just as unreadable even though it was dismissing the Freeper review. It would be obvious to even the most dense reader that Bruce's politics were being criticized, not his music per se and therefore the review shouldn't be taken seriously.

Never understood why someone would get that bent out of shape over a celebrity's POV and that goes for whether the artist/celebrity is a Dem or Repub.

13. wow. read this nonsense...
Springsteen slyly masks himself as the "quintessential all-American/blue-collar guy" with impersonations of dressing in T-shirts, jeans, pretexting to embody the image of a "working-class" "hard-worker", and imitating a pro-America, made-in-America "patriot"!!!! Yet, ominously, inspecting his slippery behind-the-scenes maneuvers, it's uncleanly divulged Springsteen is a terrorist-sympathizing, enemy-emboldening, UN-obedient, Old-Europe-submitting, America-blaming, soldier-degrading, war-dissuading KOMMIE!!!! He's ingloriously succumbed to the crumbling point all "artists" inevitably degrade to, plausibly caused by all "artists'" uncontrollable instability derived from hallucinatory drugging, a hardened endorsement of communistic, perilous, FAR-LEFT misjudgments!!!! Views such as those are also shared by the typified, blameworthy enemy stigmatized as the mentally ill, remorselessly undereducated, prone-to-lapses-in-reason "artist" who also hazardously empathizes with Arab suicide jerk-offs, confusing them as "freedom fighters"--Dixie Dicks, Semen Jam, Retarded Enemies of Man, Bonnie Hate, Sheryl Ho, Dave Matthews Bastards, John Fagerty, PEE-Street Band--and risk the WHOLE country's resolve and success in critical wartime because these disloyal sleeper cells of the Enemy Within facilitate jeering of the commander-in-chief during wartime, an unforgivable NO-NO; encourage the sub-human savages who plot America's destruction through surreptitious tactics, another trespassing NO-NO; and hurt America's soldiers' chances of survival in wartime by dissuading their self-confidence in victory over the enemy, THE VILEST NO-NO!!!!

Springsteen notoriously embodies the degeneracy of the humble-born American dilapidating into a self-hating, excuses-making, America-blaming turncoat, a cancerous illness that afflicts most "artists" irretrievably and tends to befall "artists" because of their unpardonably stubborn character flaw of perpetrating extremely amoral tolerance and open-mindedness which perilously leads to the worst, traitorous wrongdoings imaginable. Making this unprincipled betrayal of core American values all the more stinging is, by his own confession, his respectably working-class roots, where he grew up next to a gas station in a small New Jersey town. His modestly humble, unpretentious parents even admitted to the room-for-improvement in their lives when they moved to a bigger house from Randolph Street to Institute Street. Springsteen's parents understood the essence of Americanism in its promise of social mobility no matter your background--yet Springsteen spits on this sanctity like Kerry the Defeatist by equating ALL actions of America with tarnishes of "global hegemony", "colonialism", "might makes right", or whatever other socialist-menacing psychosis this unsatisfactory-educated "Boss" invents. Springsteen's been glaringly seduced by the entertainment community's leftist dictatorship and its mentally depraved, conspiring enforcement of herd-mentality that America's the "problem".

Springsteen shares another infamous scandalization which ALL coarse-background, unlearned "artists" endure: lapse of half-decent education!!!! Truth be told, Springsteen lowly only committed "brief enrollment" at the two-year Ocean County College in NJ. That means he's no expert on ANYTHING, let alone matters of foreign policy and war!!!! Furthermore, that embarrassing defect of his makes him a prime victim for the Hollywood liberal tyrants' bait of denigrating America first--because as an incompetent dropout, Springsteen slips in having the necessary awareness to scrutinize both sides of the Defame America BS his owners in entertainment field force feed him. That censurably explains why Springsteen simplistically unthinkingly broadcasts the harmful sensationalism of Kerry like he perpetrated at Washington's MCI Center that concluded an 11-state tour of renegade, psycho-musicians subservient to MoveOn, which derogated, "I want to say to the swing voters, what the hell are you waiting for? Halliburton?" The dissolute mental illness in that blasphemous mislead is putrid, but troglodyte Springsteen is planning to incite jeering and animosity at a company that's lost 50 people, and is only in Iraq to rebuild for Iraqis!!!! Other tarnishes Springsteen's propagated for Kerry include insinuating the Bush Admin. is secretive, unprogressive, irrational and unjust.

It's because of this chronic miseducation that Springsteen has been victimized as the sucker and ensnared to subordinate MoveOn's and "America Coming Together's"--whose proceeds were raised at anti-American, Hitler/Kerry-youth rallies of "Vote-for-Change" concerts--ulterior motive of destructively extremist socialism!!!! Springsteen fabricates a façade of flag-waving, American patriotism but, scrutinize closer beneath the veneer, and you'll discover an anti-American fanatic conspiring with the wicked forces of perilously severe socialism. The mentally ill, degrading-Bush-as-Hitler-ad-producing terrorists MoveOn who plotted to cover-up Clinton's sexcapades in 1998 sponsor Springsteen's concerts. Springsteen said, "America is not always right," and bitterly espoused endorsement of ulterior motives like civil rights, environmental protection, and "solving" low wages through questionable motives--ALL infamous hallmarks of the socialist sub-humans' tactics. With that sacrilege, Springsteen implicated that he's disloyally anti-American by disparaging America before the HUNDREDS of countries--like Russia, Germany, France--who're ALL more convictable!!!! Springsteen suffers grim degradation in grasping the form of government and ideology that typifies America. Miscreant Springsteen, like MoveOn and ACT, is under the putrid misguidance that America owes citizens "higher" wages, although America's are higher than TURD-world countries who really use low wages to boost company profit; owes flimsy environmental "protection" like Europe has abused, which damningly portends crippled economic growth; and embellish "civil rights"

one of the reviews from amazon.com, "maynard's dick" is what he calls himself :)
