Top Story on Yahoo: 100,000 Iraqi Deaths
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 03:01 PM by Killarney
Please keep it on the Yahoo homepage by rating a 5.

Household Survey Sees 100,000 Iraqi Deaths

A survey of deaths in Iraqi households estimates that as many as 100,000 more people may have died throughout the country in the 18 months after the U.S. invasion than would be expected based on the death rate before the war.

The survey indicated violence accounted for most of the extra deaths seen since the invasion, and air strikes from coalition forces caused most of the violent deaths, the researchers wrote in the British-based journal.

"Most individuals reportedly killed by coalition forces were women and children," they said.

Please also rate this story a 5 (basically the same story, just a little tweaked):

2. they'll just say the survey is inaccurate
because they don't allow counts to occur so they can stick their heads in the sand

4. That's a shameful river of blood ...
plus the dismemberments and injuries. Then add cancer, and birth defects, (from depelted uranium). Its like an apocalypse rained down on them. If that's how you bring democracy, who would want it?

Its hard to enjoy it when you are dead, crippled, brain damaged, etc.

6. That's as bad as anything done
by Hussein himself. 100,000 civilian casualties, mostly women and children. Why? Over reliance on air power because we don't have the grunts on the ground to do the work precisely. Smart bombs are great but they can't do what a trained soldier can do.

We shouldn't have invaded, but the way we did it is criminally irresponsible to our troops and to the people we are supposedly liberating.

7. Keep this kicked and rate the story please
We need all the cold-hearted Security Bitches to see how many Iraqi Moms are crying. What amount of death and blood is enough for a goddamned Republican? How much do they lust for violence and the pain of others.
KEEP RATING THIS STORY, PLEASE!

15. That's "Pro-Lifer" Bush for you.
What an asshole. Maybe they should post the 10 Commandments in the White House, and highlight "Thou shalt not kill" for the shrub so he doesn't kill anymore people before Kerry is inaugurated.
