Earlier today, I posted a version of the Bush "giving the finger" photo. I thought it made Bush looks stupid and unpresidential. I thought others would agree.

But instead, I got heaped on with abuse and accused of being a "troll" and a "freeper." Then the topic was locked so that I could not respond.

What about that photo suggests that I LIKE Bush? I am at a total loss.

I recently became a DU contributor. But if this is how I will be treated, I might have to re-think my donation!

Many times posts are misunderstood and you really shouldn't take it personally. It helps to come back early and explain what you mean, but on that particular post, it seemed that you had disappeared.

You were duped. I sent you this message to your inbox, but apparently you weren't patient enough to get a response. In the future, I prefer that you stop and take a breath before having a tantrum on the website.

There seems to be a misunderstanding here. This is going to sound strange... But you are seeing a different photo than the rest of us.

The photo you see is a picture of telephones with Bush giving the finger.

The photo the rest of us see is Clinton, Kerry, Daschle, and FDR making exuses for our opponents in World War II.

Look at the picture. If you see the telephones, hit the refresh button and look again.



We've been tricked. The server serves up different pictures if it is remote linked.
