if you think that you are safe by supporting George W. Bush, you couldn't be more wrong. While the elections are just around the corner, there is rampant voter fraud and intimidation taking place all over the country, including an instance where a Kerry voter was at the wrong end of a loaded gun.

You can piss and moan all you want to about how democrats and liberals are guilty of the same thing. When you do that you miss the point by a million miles. Anytime a group of people conspires to influence an election, your own personal freedom is in danger. It doesn't matter whether they're left wing, right wing or whether you think that you agree with them or not. The end does not justify the means.

If you endorse or support that kind of behavior then you are sealing your own fate. If you think that you're going to rid the country of the liberals, you may be right. If that happens then you've helped to rid the country of a group of people who have been fighting against those who will oppress you.

While you may think there is no need for an opposition party, you are dangerously unaware of what is happening to your own. Even before George W. Bush took over the White House, he showed contempt for more traditional republican platforms such as states rights and fiscal responsibility, not to mention lesser government and personal freedoms.

Remember: they who would give up liberty for security deserve neither liberty nor security. You will certainly not have either should we as a nation "stay the course". Think about what you do the next time someone decides to steal a Kerry sign or explain why they won't vote for Bush. Consider what you do when you hear an opinion you don't like. Before you take up a violent act, endorse it, shout out epithets, threats, or just stay silent, think about the consequences of your actions. Will they lead to further erosion of your own freedoms? Will you continually have your position in life compromised? Will you have a job tomorrow? Will you or your loved one be drafted? Will your personal religious beliefs be tolerated (or will they be instead swept aside because they're not considered "Christian" enough)?

If you're already to shout out an answer this very second, then you simply haven't given any thought to what lies ahead in your life. Be wary of your answers and know this: we liberals have less to lose than you do, for we know the face of the enemy.

8. Here's my 2 cents

There is nothing conservative about huge deficits.

There is nothing conservative about endless intervention in foreign governments.

Bush is NOT a conservative. He is a corporate appeaser.

God does not micro manage the universe or get involved in our elections. If that were so GW would not have had to raise a quarter of a billion dollars to seek re election.

And...

If a government is powerful enough to force a woman to have a child then it is powerful enough to force a woman to have an abortion - look at China. You shouldn't even want to got there.

I see a very, very bleak future for our country if Bush pulls this one out of the hat by hook or crook. For now I've done my part--just voted for Kerry/Edwards. For those who still face the choice I can only say:
