Allen Colmes: Liberal or Plant?

Colmes comes across so benign to Harpity's vitriol....is he just a plant? or is he really a liberal?

50. Really didn't care for Colmes

XM was the first place to get Air America, we signed up and invested the better part of a thousand dollars for radio systems for the car and home and payment for a years service. Wow, was I ever disappointed when they had on Alan Colmes rather than Air America. After a couple weeks Alan Colmes I couldn't take it anymore, I thought it was better to not have XM. Fortunately the places that sold us the XM systems took them in return and we switched to Sirius which then had Air America all the time. Right wingers love Alan Colmes, he is a very good liberal stereotype then can make an ass out of, but in reality he is not very good for liberal or even moderate types. I can't understand why anyone would want to listen to Colmes when they could have Randi Rhoades or Mike Malloy, or the Majority Report - damn, ALL the shows on Air America are better.

He is a LIAR. He has admitted in interviews that he is not a liberal, but a moderate centrist, and yet he poses as a liberal on the air. He doesn't represent the values of the DLC, much less the democratic party. He is about as liberal as Scwarzenegger.

He should insist that he be referred to as "the moderate" against Hannity's "conservative". There is almost never a liberal viewpoint reprresented on that show.

He should also demand equal airtime to grind his axe as Hannity does, but he doesn't.

I know. I used to listen to his show on WEVD in New York before Disney bought the radio station in order to silence it.

Alan didn't have to answer to anyone: sponsors, management, politicians, etc. He was free to say whatever he wanted, and he did.

IMO, Alan made a deal with the devil (literally and figuratively) when he made a contract with FOX. He is supposed to play a role. It breaks my heart to watch as I know how great he can be.
