David Kay on Aaron Brown Summary (hint: devastating)
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 09:29 PM by troublemaker
1. It's an IAEA seal he says
2. The barrels are correct
3. He says it's RDX or HMX
4. With regard to the bunker shown it's "game, set and match."

He adds that is frightening that the soldiers would cut off locks then just leave. He blames lack of security (too few troops) He says no excuses for war planners. And OF COURSE none of the material in question is a WMD

Thanks, Mr. Kay! There's at least one Texan I like.

Only one thing missing. He was not asked why the Pentagon released a bogus SatIntel photo of the wrong bunker!

This video proves HMX was in Al QaQaa at time of invasion.

4. Game, set, and match.
HMX was there. It was an IAEA seal. The soldiers broke into the bunker and verified (photographed!) the contents. Then they left it unguarded.

The buck stops in the offal orifice.

5. I Can't Believe I EVER CALLED HIM A LACKEY!!!!!!!!
He just destroyed the administration.

I swear, I take everything back I ever said about him. This guy has blown me away over the past few months. I'm floored. Really, really floored by this guy. He's got guts of steel; he's one of the bravest men I've ever seen. I'm not kidding. Think of what pressures he must be under. He's either one of the bravest men on the planet or an utter fool.

23. I think he honestly believed there were WMDs
Based on his recent demeanor, I believe that David Kay sincerely believed that the intelligence that he was provided by the Bush administration was authentic. Once he confirmed that it was all lies, he has been an outspoken advocate for the truth, just as Hans Blix and Mohammed ElBaradai were before the invasion.

6. Kay also blows Dennis Prager out of the water
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 09:22 PM by demdem
Prager was on King tonight saying this is proof that Saddam had WMD's, Kay just said these were not the weapons we went to war for. These weapons were already secured by the inspectors.

12. They are so desperate, but I worry about the WMD line because
people haven't shown the best critical thinking these last few years. I hope everyday folks understand the Rs are flat lying saying HMX is a WMD

and they would vote for Whistle Ass if he gunned down Kerry in the studios of CNN.

13. Prager was a complete moron.
He was spinning so fast he put Linda Blair to shame.

First, he claimed that these explosives were WMDs.

Then, he claimed that we started the war with the sole intent of pulling the world's terrorists into Iraq.

Well, that worked. Too bad it wasn't the reason we went to war.

Much be nice in that delusional world you live in, Dennis.

18. Joe Klein blew the satellite photos
In a followup interview, Joe Klein said the photos wreaked of desperation, since they were last used to convince the UN that WMD existed, an idea that has been totally debunked.

It would have been better if Kay had said it, but it was said.

24. Actually, Aaron Brown and others slammed Bush

The guy he was interviewing said it was embarrasing that the Administration brought out these photos which had now been so badly over-used to sell the war. It was classic.
