If my son gets to vote, it will be a miracle
He has moved 4 times since he last voted.. He's not even sure where he's registered..:eyes:

His DL has an address from 2 moves-ago.. He pays rent to someone who has all the bills in their name..no official rent receipts..

he has his passport, but I am wondering if they will allow him to vote..

I told him to take some unopened mail addressed to him.. Maybe I;ll go with him..

Kids !!!!!

1. Can he (or you) call your county auditor and tell them the deal and
ask them what he should do?

He last voted in 02 but it was in a different town..same county, but the congressional districts might be different..

I only told him a MILLION times to go online and update his info :grr:

This is my procrastinator son.. He was giving a pile of clothes to Goodwill, and thank Goodness I checked what he was giving away.. I found his leather jacket in the box, with his passport and wallet in it..the wallet had about $300.00 in it.. He just scooped up a bunch of stuff and tossed it into a box..

He just cancelled his credit cards, got a new driver's license, gave up on the cash and bought a new wallet...he thought he'd lost his wallet at a club..

He looks young, so he carries his passport for ID sometimes.

What did he say? . "I wondered where my jacket was ":eyes:

8. Then they wonder why parents sometimes go stark, raving nutz! ^_^
That's quite some story! Dang lucky you're looking out for him!

Say, could you follow me around, and straighten out some of my goofs, too? :)

I'm willing to bet that was a day you were wondering where to hand in your parenthood resignation letter... :hi:

Kanary, who is sometimes thankful she missed the teenaged years of parenthood.... :)

3. How 'bout your election board
website? Our DOJ site has a nice list of rights and recourse for voters in WI.

In WI, you can take along somebody who knows you and can vouch for your address as your 'proof of residence.'
