Right Society can take our threads and make fun of them. They actually have the gall to link to these threads and post them on thier sites to laugh at us. I feel violated and taken outta context.

They are all idiots and farm for threads that they can use to make US look stupid. I made a thread last night when they went down but they are up now and making fun of us again.

11. I just took a little peek at RS's thoughts on one of our threads

polling the sexiness of the Kerry/Edwards kids (Cate Edwards won over Alex and Vanessa Kerry--a shame, Alex is my favorite). In the following comments, I was surprised to learn that every single DU member is apparently homosexual. Then I was thrown completely through a loop by a guy with "I advocate the slaughtering of liberals" in his profile when he exposed all of us for what we are: shameless pedophiles. A sentiment seconded by another RightSociety poster.

I've had my words on one parenting board mocked on another. A different parenting board I frequent was invaded enmasse by the freakrepublic goons. (Apparently they have a problem with attatchment parenting. Whatever.) It sucks but it's just the nature of public message boards. A carseat board I know of (carseats for crisake, where's the controversy there?) get's trolled from time to time.

Threads get lifted and mocked because people see your words and opinions but because they don't see any details to humanize you they feel less awful for mocking you than they would if they overheard the same conversation in a resturaunt or something.

A co-worker sent me a link to the site that cannot be named (CU) and I went there to lurk and read their screwy posts (its sort of like looking at a car wreck, you just cant help yourself). And yes they also have a "best worst of DU forum", but thats how I found my way here and I'm ever so grateful to them for that! :-)
