Scariest Halloween EVER............

i can't recall a scarier halloween in my whole life of over half a century of halloweens. halloween is the day from ancient days on which we invite the dead into our homes for family visitation. the recently departed, or the long gone, all are welcomed with candles, incense, wine and spirits and fine foods.

i swear, i confess and i admit, i'm scared. the right wingers are scared too, and the main theme this election is in fact, fear.
perfect to have halloween right before the most important american election in history. the 21st century starts out with a chilling, haunting ill wind.

on this halloween night, which is also my birthday, i will welcome the family ancestors, recently and long ago departed, into my home.
also welcome are the 3,000 who died on nine eleven because of george w. bush, and the thousand plus soldiers who have died in vain. i will also welcome the uncountable hundreds of thousands of innocent mothers, sons, daughters, and fathers who were murdered by decree by our insane government leaders. i will tip a glass, and offer a deep apology for their loss, caused by my own nation's recklessness and greed.

after the trick or treaters have gone home, and the guests, living and dead have left, i will remember with a chill, that our nation faces demons, monsters, ghouls, zombies, and serial killers of the real kind, not the rubber mask or cheap movie kind. they have many frightening tricks for us, and few treats.
