100,000 dead but not one word from media
We kill 100,000 civilians, and not a mention on the networks.

"Forty-six percent of the violent deaths involving coalition forces were men ages 15 to 60; 46 percent were children younger than 15, and 7 percent were women, the researchers said."

46% of 100,000 is 46,000 CHILDREN. We slaughter 46,000 children, and don't even blink. No outrage, no remorse, no deep national soul searching. I just don't understand. http://www.startribune.com/stories/1762/5057999.html

1. "Not one word."
As George Soros said yesterday at the National Press Conference (i'm paraphrasing) 'if george bush wins, i will enter a monastery to contemplate what has happened to America, who we are as a people, who we have become.'

That'll larn ye to listen only to Murkan Corporate NOOZ...

PNAC is truly evil.

It's ironic, I'm listening now to a feature about our election, and some Bush-Bimbo just said "Our Society is in moral decline, and that's why we need to re-elect the President..."

Basically, Mr. "Strong and Steady" has gotten more than a 30:1 revenge ratio for "9-11"...Even the Gestapo only took 10:1 when partisans would kill an SS officer...

He's got a good start on his 6,000,000, doesn't he? Well, they're right. Bush is not like Hitler. Hitler didn't kill 100,000 in his first 4 years in power.....

6. BULLSHIT.
Heard the 100,000 number NO LESS than TWICE on CNN Daybreak this morning at 6:00AM and at 6:30AM EST. There was no film, just the announcement that an independently financed John Hopkins / Swiss study estimated that at LEAST 100,000 civilian deaths have occurred in Iraq since the INVASION.

GO KERRY, GO!!!

16. Actually it is probably way lower
this study is completely at odds with all the other studies and relies on polling rather than medical records or any sort of concrete evidence.
This study will probably be refuted soon by other, more complete ones.

13. CNN rollaround has shown 100,000 killed including many women/children
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 08:55 AM by wishlist
I was surprised that the rollaround scroll on CNN Headline news earlier this morning did show the 100,000 Iraqis killed including many women and children. Hopefully, they will continue to show this information. CNN has also been mentioning the video by imbedded reporters showing the troops unlocking the bunkers holding the explosives and they used the work 'theory' to describe the Pentagon spin.

15. Someone must have mentioned it on the news
because my parents knew about it. They don't read any news on the Internets, so it had to be broadcast. This is in Texas, BTW. Don't know if that makes a difference, though, 'cause I doubt it was local news reporting the number of Iraqi dead.
