How did Kerry get CNN to ditch Candy Crowley from covering his campaign?

Kelly Wallace is an improvement over knee pad wearing Bush supporter Crowley. And Bush can keep the escapee from a wax museum Suzanne Malveaux. I am curious what the Kerry camp had to do to get the job done? But I do remember some shots of Crowley when she was still covering Kerry at the beginning of the campaign and there were people walking behind her with signs that said CNN SUCKS! Wonder if it was Kerry's people doing that? Smart move if it was.

I think CNN decided she was not deceptive enough. They are trying to be more stealthy with their propaganda than Fox News. Crowley was way over the top.

Are you absolutely sure Candy is gone? I sure wish she is gone for good since she ruins CNN's evening coverage. Paula Zahn already sucks lemons but last night her show was totally deplorable and unwatchable due to Candy.

18. I'll never forget Candy Crowbait on election night 2000--

One of the talking heads threw to Candy without any intro or warning, and she popped on the screen with her trademark sideways-stance. She was way, way too close to the lens and I automatically jumped and yelled. She literally scared me. And I don't scare easily.

I also remember Mo Rocca doing Candy's sideways-stance later on the Daily Show. Hilarious.

29. Yeah- she reported from the Kerry/Springsteen thing last night. HORRIBLE.

Talked about how Kerry doesn't have the everyman quality, and was "anxious to outsource the job"... to Springsteen. Then she ended her report- no kidding- by saying 'we asked if Kerry would be available for interviews, but his campaign said they'd already got their photos from this event'.

She's horrible.

I used to watch CNN all the time when Ted Turner owned it, but it has become a complete clone of Fox. They don't even try to give unbiased news reports any more. When I recently heard one of their talking heads say, "John Kerry made a wild statement today", I was REALLY angry!
