Did anybody hear that the Chicago Tribune's head is stepping down?
There was a small article in the Orlando Sentinel yesterday. I was wondering if it was related to their endorsement of Bush?

1. The article said it was because circulation was down
The next guy is a GOP shill also, so there is not much hope for the Trib.

2. I read many letters to them saying that circulation was going to drop
much more because most of them were canceling their subscriptions because of the Bush* endorsement. Over seven hundred letters were mentioned and every single one of them was against that Bush* endorsement.

3. The Denver Post is the paper that received 700 negative letters
in response to their chimp endorsement. The Trib printed some letters that supported their endorsement, citing their "clear thinking," or "reasoned logic." :eyes:

I think you're right on The Trib's circulation being down though. ;-)

4. No, no, no...
The guy who's resigning is taking the fall for Tribune Co. inflating circulation numbers at Newsday and Oy!. Has nothing to do with their endorsement.

Read more about that here:

6. The publisher, not the editor, was fired.
He has no control over the edit of the paper. He's in charge of circulation, advertising revenue, printing and other costs.
