DEBUNKING the pentagon SATALLITE BUNKER photos...W/pictures!
DoD-released imagery taken on March 17, 2003, showing two trucks parked outside one of the 56 bunkers of the Al Qa Qaa Explosive Storage Complex

Take a look at this photo, which shows only one HMX bunker in the bunch of bunkers circled with a green line:

Now take a look at this photo showing the trucks. Comparing to the first photo, you can clearly tell that this group of bunkers is the one in the green box from the first photo.
From that we can tell that the bunker with trucks in front of it is the bunker in the lower-left portion of the bunker complex, NOT the HMX bunker.

Note that the bunker with trucks is superimposed to appear twice in this lower picture...the superimposure slightly larger.

14. Press conference
They were trying to claim they took the explosives after all.

9. Oh, I May Have Misread the Blow-Up Photo

It looks like the photo circled in yellow on the upper right is an enlargement of the other circled bunker. From the trucks, craters, tire tracks, etc, they're clearly two versions of the same image. At first I thought they were being presented as two separate bunkers.

10. heh. It IS the same image, but it's intended to be. It's not another
doctored photo thing.

It's like when you look at a city map and they take the center and enlarge it someplace else on the map for more detail.

Maybe it was done to confuse people...since the enlargement doesn't show much more detail than the original.

The point is the two pictures together show that the trucks weren't in front of an HMX bunker.

12. I See That Now
What was confusing was that the enlargement was almost the same size as the original, and was positioned right over where another bunker was.

7. Barbara Starr just showed the pentagon image w/trucks without...
mentioning that it's been demonstrated the bunker the trucks are in front of didn't have IAEA sealed explosives inside it.

So, this remains an issue...even if it isn't around here.

It's still part of thier defence.

11. Just heard the CNN guy at the pentagon tell us that pentagon concedes...
this photo shows trucks in front of bunker that is known not to contain HMX.

No doubt Barbara Starr will show up again and show the picture and not mention this fact.

Or it will be told without that context in other media outlets.

13. What is totally stupid
...is that anyone doing loading on a large scale would back the damn truck into the bunker, roll the stuff up into the truck, and then leave. They would not park at the curb and haul the shit out.

For all we know, those guys could have stopped on the way to Baghdad to use the crapper and have a glass of tea.
