If you get called by the Hill Research Consultants -- hang up.
For one thing, they're liars. I specifically asked if they were affiliated with Republican vs. Democrats and they said no. Is there anywhere I can go to file a complaint?

Here's their info:

1. Are they pollsters?
If so, if you hang up, you will only be biasing their report towards those people with opinions opposite yours.

3. No, they're not pollsters. .
They are an opinion research firm for conservatives. I didn't know that at the time. With everyone phone polling these days you might not be able to distinguish between opinion research firms and pollsters. Look at their webpage and look at their clients. They're all conservative Republicans. I asked them if they were affiliated with either Republicans or Democrats and they distinctly said no. So, on their word, I gave them more information than I would have otherwise.

I think we need to get a list of names of these firms and post them on DU.

2. I have never seen the polls so crazy.
I usually do not believe them and never get a feel on who will win any how but what I hear of the polls they really sound nuts. Can every state be just about 50-50? I do not think so.

4. This one was particularly devious.
Their caller id is in New Jersey, but they really operate in Texas.
