FOX payed all that money
Millions and millions.

If O'Reilly weren't guilty, all he had to do was say "go ahead, bring on your tape..."

So what did he really buy? Everyone still knows he's guilty.

1. ...AND they are saddled with that loudmouthed loser
for the duration of his contract. Talke about a marriage made in hell. Karma bites.

2. The payoff means the story doen't keep coming up
and the tapes don't get played. He and his loyal base can pretend the charges were baseless.

The problem is that he's a sick guy and will probably repeat the behavior.

3. Supposedly, O'LIELLY Paid Out ALONE, Not Faux
Imagine AILES telling O'LIELLY, "You stepped on your own dick. You pay."

Financial terms weren't disclosed, but it's believed O'Reilly — and O'Reilly alone — paid multimillions of dollars. ....

The settlement statement did not mention the Fox News Channel, which had filed suit with O'Reilly against Mackris and was named as a defendant with O'Reilly by Mackris. That means the network was likely not involved in the deal. A spokeswoman for Fox declined comment. ....

5. Would he even have the money?
You'd think Larry Flynt could outcash him.

4. O'Reilly is rendered irrelevant at this point
His grand days are now behind him. For a man who is so highly opinionated on everyone, this scandal will dog him to his dieing days.

6. She originally said she wouldn't settle for less than $60 mil
Anyone know what the final figure actually is?
