I want to bring up John Poindexter today. |
|
You remember him, don't you? He was Oliver North's right hand man in the Iran Contra affair. During the senate hearings, he admitted he planted stories favorable to the Reagn-Bush administration in "friendly" newspapers and magazines like the Wall Street Journal and National Review and others. He was then called the Disinformation Specialist by one of the sentors on the panel. He was, of course, convicted and quickly pardoned by Bush I along witha number of other felons.
Many here may not know that the same felon John Poindexter showed up in the second Bush Administration as, what else, the right hand man to Donald Rumsfeld at the Pentagon. His job?In charge of the Office of Special Plans which is the mutated word for Disinformation in the next generation of Bushspeak. After having set in place all the machinery to spread such lethal drippings throughout our political system, he "resigned" sometime ago.No one knows what wonderful things the Point Man has in store for us now that he has plenty of time on his hands.
I am certain we will find Poindexter's fingerprints in all press and TV items and possibly even from the news emanating from Iraq.He is the Adolph Eichmann type.Obedient to a fault and capable of hiding his evil work with a banality that even the old Nazi would envy.

6. DARPA is a legitimate research office that supports work by |
|
reputable scientists and research workers.John Poindexter would fit in that culture as well as Don Corleone in Mother Teresa's mission.

8. DARPA has done what you say in the past. The internet is a good example |
|
but their new charge was to build the superpowerful TIA database.
