While at the Brew Co. last night, one of the TVs had FUEL on it. At the end of the show they played this music video from an emo band out of Arizona called "Chronic Future". The sound on the set was turned down, so I couldn't hear the lyrics, but it was a visually powerful animated vid, and quite obviously antiwar. When I got home, I Googled the band, and found a link to the vid for the song entitled "Time and Time Again". After checking the lyrics, the song really has nothing to do with the war, and is about personal introspection. Still worth watching.
As military spending continues to increase, so too does the pressure on American youth to join the US armed forces. Time and Time Again attempts to bring the dilemma to the center of the pop culture plate. Through a combination of hand-drawn, photo-compositing and 3D animation, GNN.tv delivers a music video for Chronic Future's single, "Time and Time Again."
