The timing of this Bin Laden tape is perfect for Bush. There's no doubt what Bin Laden wants to happen with this election.
Unfortunately, the American people will read it the other way.
Pointing out Bush's prior comments in connection with the statements by Bin Laden would be classified as a cheap shot by the press, but we've got to do it. In an election this close, there's no point in handicapping ourselves by the rules of fairness of the corporate media.

and whip up an ad just like you describe. It can't be that hard to edit a bunch of video of Bush shooting himself in the foot by saying he is not that concerned about obl. I wonder if the ad guys read DU or not? Do you suppose there is a Kerry guy at a high level in the campaign who reads DU? I have been hoping so.
