Anyone else nervous about the OBL
Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 12:16 AM by BayCityProgressive
tape? I cant help but feel that with media spin this will help Bush.....I am also nervous about th epolls. A week ago I was really confident Kerry would win but now I am getitng nervous. Also, it looks as though we wont capture the senate as we had hope and there is no chance in getting the house back. Our only chance is Kerry. We need to get SOME power back. I cringe just thinking of another 4 years of Bush and the court appointments. I can hardly think about it without feeling sick.

1. No.
The topic has been beaten to death here all evening. The concensus is that it hurts Bush more than Kerry. Don't worry about it.

By at least 10 Points. It doesn't seem possible and all the media spin aboout UBL is enraging me to no end. Every pundit says this was the October surprise and will hurt Kerry.

WTF... How does this help Bush..... The other conspiracy is Zogby..
How and the F**k can Chimp be up 2 points in Michigan......

2. No that nervous
It is a knife that cuts both ways. Deepens the resolve of those leaning towards Kerry ... and those leaning towards Bush. But Kerry still seems to have the momentum.

3. Osama is an al CIAda asset, of course he's coming out with a tape
to help his benefactor busholini.

If the sheeple are so stupid as to buy this amateurish propaganda then they deserve the tyranny busholini will visit on them.

It's not gonna happen, though.

F***in LANDSLIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We'll be free
On 11-03!!!

5. No, the fact that he is alive and taunting Bush...........
only exacerbated Bushes incompetence. No one is going to say "OMG!! That Bin Laden tape makes me change my vote to Bush!!"

6. Easy does it, man
The end of this nightmare is in sight. If anything, i'd be more worried about them stealing it again. But even that is unlikely, as we are onto them this time.
Steady as she goes, we're almost there.

7. I think it is ok... pretty much a wash
and really not a lot of legs... you know, it's a tape, a speech... in the end there isn't all that much for the media to obsess about. It did put a kibosh on the explosives story for now and that is probably it's primary negative.

11. By tomorrow morning, the press will be saying bin Laden begged
Americans to spare him by electing John Kerry.

But no, the tape doesn't make me nervous. I'm confident that Kerry has a sizeable lead.

The only thing that does make me nervous is Republican election fraud, and the potential aftermath. I don't think those fools realize what a hornet's nest they're whipping up.

16. I agree
Since Osama has eclipsed the missing ammo in the news, it might help to mention that it is likely that Osama has some of it.

14. Again, I say no impact
The more play this gets in our election, the more power we cede to Osama. Neither party can afford to make this an issue. Osama is our common enemy.

It does bear mentioning, however, to those who are watching the skies fall in Iraq, this man is a true patriot. "One man's terrorist..."

I'm not nervous, I'm pissed off.
It makes me furious to see him alive and well and free. It makes me furious that our young men and women are dying in Iraq because of the incompetence of the Bush administration while Osama was allowed to escape.
