The question is does Bushco have Bin Laden now? |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 01:07 AM by Melodybe
If no, then the Bin laden tapes are just another reminder of their incompetence.
If yes, then this has all been an elaborate hoax and lead in for Bushco to "capture" him on Monday.
I think either way it is bad for Bush, people are sick of being yanked around by terror.
Kerry should call them failures and demand that if this is a hoax they show us Osama now, I think that would cover both bases.

1. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up between |
|
now and Tuesday. Will it be too late by then? Would it do Shrub any good? You'd think that if they really thought they were doing that badly AND they had OBL, they would have pulled him out of the bag a good week ago. But nothing at all would surprise me.

9. I thought I noticed freezer burns on his cheeks and... |
|
was pretty sure I could see little strings moving his hands, last night.
But, I could be wrong.

2. The thought occurred to me also |
|
but I'm of the opinion right now that Bush and the CIA are at war. If Bush truly had Osama, plenty of people at CIA would leak the news in a heartbeat, IMO.

5. If he "shows up" , he will be dead |
|
He was very ill and on dialysis. I think he is already dead. They could very possibly have his body on ice.
I have always thought they would thaw him out right before the election. I want to be wrong.

8. Good. I voted for Kerry already and will canvass all weekend |
|
To make sure others get out there and vote for him too. Fuck Bush. Fuck Cheney. Fuck Rumsfeld. Fuck Osama. Fuck the Bin Ladens. And Fuck the Saudi Royal Family.

6. I am somewhat expecting to hear he has been bombed and |
|
presumed killed this weekend.
Unverifiable, much like the claims of possibly killing Saddam in the missle attack before the main "shock and awe". Or the bombing of houses in Fallajuh resulting in the "X" number of theoritical terrorists killed.

10. I wouldn't be surprised if Osama is in some safe and cozy Saudi palace |
|
with the full knowledge of the BFEE. He's Emmanuel Goldstein, to be trotted out whenever the bushies think we need a good scare. I doubt we'll be seeing a corpse, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see another LIHOP/MIHOP Monday or Tuesday if the polls don't swing as visibly as the BFEE wants this weekend.
The big question is how gullible the US public is this late in the game. I think a lot more people have wised up more than we can know given the captive media and pollsters. A good indication to me is that I see very, very few Bush/Cheney signs and bumper stickers compared to 2000, here in a very conservative corner of a very conservative state.

14. That's what I've thought for a long time |
|
He's safe and sound in Saudi, right in the bosom of his family. He looked too good for a sick, hunted fugitive.

The quality of the vid was much better than the previous Bin Laden vids. He also looked much healthier in this vid. He's in custody, probably in Saudi Arabia. They'll trot him out whenever they need to scare all the sheeple.

it would be WAY too obvious if OBL were to be captured this weekend. Even an idiot would figure it was set up. I can't see this happening.

13. Not meant to be caught |
|
At the risk of sounding like Mr. Conspiracy Theory. To be honest with you, I'd be shocked if OBL was captured. IMO the official OBL story explaining why he turned on the U.S. just doesn't pass the smell test. It has too many contradictions with known facts.
And given all the experience I have with studying the history of CIA psychological warfare. And given the history of OBL -and- Al Queda with the CIA. And given the fact that the hawks already had a plan to gain total control of that area. And given the history of the BinLaden family with the Bush family. And given the history of OBL and Bush Sr with the CIA. And given the history of the Bush family "trading with the enemy."
I am going to say that it is just as likely, if not more likely, that OBL is a psychological warfare tool. He gets to play the part of the boogie man. And as long as he remains out there, the longer it serves U.S. corporate interest in the arms business, and gives us the excuses to gain access into oil areas we wouldn't normally freely have.
BTW - Arms sales, Oil, and Narcotics are three of the top five money making ventures in the world. And guess what the entire CIA's covert action history is involved in doing? And I might add its not covert to people like Russia or to the poor people who are the victims. Its only covert to you and me - the U.S. tax payers.

15. I don't think that there is |
|
any significant history of Usama bin Laden in relationship to the CIA. While he was in Afghanistan, and the US financed -- often through third parties -- the forces opposed to the Soviets, I do not think there are many creible connections between him and CI.
