Why is the NAACP being investigated |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 11:56 AM by in_cog_ni_to
and the Jerry Falwell/Pat Robertsons of the world can go on national TV and spew their support of the idiot-in-chief? Is THEIR tax exempt status being investigated also? What are the details of the NAACP speech that brought on the investigation? :WTF: PLEASE. Someone explain the difference to me, beside the fact that NAACP represents African Americans and the religious right represnts the white man. :wtf: is the difference here?

what about all the friggin' religious RWers who were out in full force speaking against Bill Clinton? They weren't investigated. :grr: The double standard is disgusting. These bastards have got to go. I am so sick of this shit. We need some video tapes of Falwell and Robertson speaking out against Clinton. Remind the world of the double standard. :grr:
NAACP Chairman Julian Bond "condemned the administration policies of George W. Bush on education, the economy and the war in Iraq (news - web sites)" in a July 11 speech.

8. The IRS is investigating |
|
over 60 churches right now for violating the same code they are accusing the NAACP of violating. Also, I believe the IRS revoked the Christian Coalition's tax-exempt status or denied the tax-exempt status. The IRS is just following their policy--find money, take it. Personally, I don't think any group that gets involved politically should be given tax-exempt status. This goes for churches or any organization that suggests for whom their members should vote.
