Why is that piece of sh*t osama still alive!?!?
WTF? the blood of 3,000 Americans cries out for justice and has NONE!
my biggest reason for turning ABB was because of bush's failure to get osama and now he shows up on my TV taunting us and mocking us.

last night I was pissed off and couldn't sleep so i watched all the talking head pundits talking about the OBL tape and you know what REALLY pissed me off further was the fact that all of the RW ASSHOLES were absolutely orgasmic over the emergence of this tape to save their precious bushie!!!!

this is sickening beyond description. these guys are HAPPY that OBL is still alive if it helps their cause. all week these asshats were glum because the news was not looking good for bushie but not last night. last night they were ALL SMILES and upbeat faces, WTF!?!? i cannot believe this crap, i get the feeling that the only thing that would have made them happier would have been if OBL had blown up more of our fellow American brothers and sisters. i hate these fuckers!!!

1. Exactly what we ALL should be asking...
...look at the price our country as paid thus far, and OBL is still out there.

3. BushCorp needs a bogeyman.
They want us to believe that capturing/killing Osama will be the magic bullet to end the violence. As if all the people in the world with justifiable grievances against America are suddenly going to give up their struggle because one lunatic is done away with.

If ever they should catch up with him, he will be immediately replaced with someone else we are supposed to hate and fear.

4. Because Bush needs a bogeyman
To keep the populace sufficiently scared enough to keep the system intact. He's there so people don't look behind the curtain and see how much we are getting ripped off by the upper classes.

5. He's alive for two reasons:
One, if he dies, there's no longer a face to which the US can attach all the fear and hatred that's been built up for 3 years. He's the Boogeyman that Bush* and his cronies need to keep the War on Terror going. This is sad and disgusting, but probably true. It's the same reason we didn't just kill Saddam Hussein years ago. We needed an enemy after the USSR collapsed.

Two is much simpler. The Bush* Administration has no idea what it's doing and has been sending an army to hunt down one man when it should have sent special forces and spies.

1000+ US troops dead, and he is still alive?

8 more soldiers dead today, and he is still alive?

100,000 dead Iraqi's, and he is still alive?

Our foriegn relations in a shambles, and he is still alive?

We went to Iraq to keep the terrorists from getting their hands on deadly weapons, and chose not to secure the weapons dumps??

Bush is the one running as the one "most able to keep us safe"???

9. bin Laden's alive because
George Bush made a solemn promise to the Saudi royal terrorist funders he would never harm any member of the bin Laden family.

That, and they need an evil bogeyman so they can continue this "successful catastrophe" for another four years, and transfer the entire contents of the Treasury into the hands of the Bush campaign donors and make the American public endebted to the financiers of this disaster for the next five generations.

11. why insult him.....?
he's the enemy and he's done wrong but to heap insult upon him when AT LEAST he's doomed himself for a cause which he believes is just, unlike bushinc, who are RIGHT NOW feathering their nests win lose or draw.....i recall seeing a rerun of johnny carson show where johnny was dissing sadegh ghotzeday (sp?) who was iranian gov official who spoke english during 1979-80 hostage crisis and became famous; at the time of the tonight show rerun, ghotzeday was dead (he was arrested and executed for lacking extremism, or something) having not been vicious or grasping or sneaky enough in the hothouse of iranian politics at the time. americans have habit of judging very harshly men who, at least, are risking their lives trying to do what they do...for example if saddam had ever lost control of iraq, not only his life but lives of thousands of his people would have been forfeit. i do not believe osama was 'main player' in the wtc disaster, and even if he was, his taking on the goliath of all goliaths (the usa) suggest we should hate and fear him, but save the contempt of your words for real deserving 'pos' like the mediawhores oreilly, limbaugh, novak, mathews, and the pigs cheney, bush, rummsvelt and so on, who (surprise!) are only ones benefitting from it.....

again, i see obl as a dead man walking, while true monsters like geebush and the rest of them giggling as they go home to the mountain of cash they stole from their own country, after LIHOP at the very least (i believe that if bin laden was involved at all, he was helped by the busheviks)
btw i read that in texas, it's well known the geebush has had a couple kids outside of marriage, and arranged illegal abortion for the lowman girl (underaged at the time) again, obl may be a bad man, but its his very selflessness or sacrifice, that makes him bad

13. Lots of mass murderers are still alive
Exhibit A: the squatter in the White House.

That said, OBL may have been the mastermind and the financier but the perpetrators all, or for the most part, died on 9/11. Michael Moore's book Dude, Where's My Country raises serious questions about OBL's power and capability (question #3: "Who attacked the United States on September 11 -- a guy on dialysis from a cave in Afghanistan or ... Saudi Arabia).

Don't get me wrong, I am not an apologist for OBL but Bush and repukes need an enemy, someone to channel the anger, frustration and hatred of the citizenry on and thereby deflect attention from their own duplicitous, murderous actions. Bush needs his family's buddy, OBL who along with other Saudis is untouchable.

That's why he's still around.

18. It wasn't the blood of 3000
Americans spilt on September 11, 2001. How arrogant of you to neglect the deaths of people from 62 other countries!

Some people here scream of the NeoCons drinking Koolaid, while you took a huge glup yourself by believing whistle ass et al's "Official Story".

Please present, on this thread, evidence that it was OBL that did the deed alone.

Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 04:47 PM by katusha
however, the clowns i saw on TV THOUGHT it helped bush and were therefore happy about it. that is what really got my blood boiling and perhaps opened my eyes wider to the fact that they are politicizing human tragedy for their own gain.
