C-Span's descriptions are pissing me off

Right now, the (DirecTV Tivo) description for C-Span 1 says "Bush-Cheney Campaign Rally" and when I saw it, I made a face. But I was going through the channels, and George Soros is speaking!

The other day, during the Elizabeth Edwards Town Hall meeting, the description had something about Jenna and Barbara Bush, and nothing about EE.

A few weeks ago, during a Book-TV thing, it said something about a conservatives meeting.

There have been other times when I've fumed, but I forget what they were.

I know they do their programming in large blocks and can't describe everything, but it's annoying.

C-Span is wonderful much of the time, but I almost think someone, somewhere (at DirecTV? I know it's Murdoch, but I have to have it) is doing it on purpose.

and I did it not by relying on the program listings. Found this works better, and it only takes seconds to blip by Faux to get to CSPAN.
