Tales of a Canvasser
I went out today and canvassed neighborhoods in NW Ohio for MoveOn. I had never done it before and it was actually fun! People were very polite, even the Bush supporters. I was working from a list where more than half the people hadn't been contacted, so there was a chance they may be Republicans.

I met a couple of people that have had enough of the election. I even met a Republican voting for Kerry. And I ran into a couple of die-hard Kerry supporters who told me they were praying for a Kerry win. Aren't we all?

Tomorrow I am going door-to-door for ACT, and on Monday, will help out MoveOn again.

I encourage everyone to get out and canvass their neighborhoods.

Now, I must get ready for a Halloween party.

Kerry on!

On a humorous side note, my 73-year-old mom told me she received a phone call from P. Diddy urging her to vote Democratic. She already voted by absentee ballot.

1. I have found people are more people when you knock on their door
than when you phone them. Door-to-door canvassing IS fun!
