Wore my Kerry 2004 pin to the grocery store and was told by a woman that
she hoped I would enjoy burning in hell. :eyes: I very sweetly told her that I hope she enjoyed it when her mouth puckered like an asshole... it would be like that for the next four years with President Kerry.

another that comes to mind is,

"I haven't enjoyed it at all these PAST FOUR YEARS but that will change when Kerry is elected on Tuesday!"

12. Starbuck, do you live in SC?

I do too. I feel your pain. I got into it in the bookstore a couple of months ago when the Swift Boat Vets book came out. The bookstore had only a few copies of it and they'd sold them out. I was standing by the magazine racks in the back and the man's wife was sitting on a bench near me. He told her, "Damn liberal bookstore--they sold out all their copies." I have no idea why I piped up and said this, but I guess I was trying to be helpful (I failed to mention that I had taken the two copies they had there and stuck them behind the Big Dog's Autobiography). "They have them at Sam's Club." I said. "Do they? Did you buy one yet?" the man said, his face lighting up like a Christmas Tree. He obviously thought he'd found a fellow Repug and was delighted. "Oh, no sir. I don't much like reading fiction." I replied sweetly. His wife jumped to her feet and snapped, "That was rude." "Not nearly so rude as having a draft dodger attack a war hero's record or same draft dodger sending thousands of our young people off to Iraq to die." I replied. Let's just say that they were both in such shock that they were stunned into silence. The husband finally said, "Liberal plot." as they huffed off as fast as they could in the opposite direction. The best part? They were ahead of me in line at the checkout and I could see them as they backed up their car. There is no doubt in my mind that the driver got to see my car, which was parked right across with him, with my Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers and anti-Shrub stickers plastered across the back.

10. Positive grocery store story
I just went to Albertson's wearing my "John Kerry Bringing complete sentences back to the White House." (www.seeyageorge.com ) Now this is TX and surprisingly nobody has given me any grief yet, but I'm always steeled for it, just in case. A young, clean cut man was walking toward me and I could see he was eyeing the shirt. I figured he was a Republican for sure so I just set my jaw and went past. I heard a tentative "Ma'am?" I thought, OK, I'm about to get dissed, but at least he sounds polite. So I turned around and he said, "Thank you very much."

:wow:

I recovered enough to say thank you back and then I gave him my last Bring Back Complete Sentences button. Thinking back on it, I'm even wondering if he was military. I noticed his shirt had a Pepsi logo like he was a delivery man for them, but he could be in the reserves.

21. Great comeback! LOL!
What a hateful thing to say! Freepers are such assholes. I have NEVER had anyone with enough guts to say anything negative to me about my Kerry t-shirts or pins. It must be the look on my face...."I DARE you to say something to me." :grr: I live in freeperville and am surrounded by the fools. :puke:

What kind of God disallows your entry into heaven for being a Democrat? If I were a Christian I think I would be very furious at such judgmental harpies.
