CSPAN : Must see... Bush on the Couch authorJustin Frank. is really laying |
|
shrubs behavior on the line.......a woman in the audience said her son is in LD class with Rove's son...and that Neil Bush takes private reading classes in DC. She sees the same symptoms in her son and shrub....They are talking about all the sypmtoms shrub has. and....Dr. Frank is frightened that shrub has his finger on the button.
The other panelist is the author of In His Father's Shadow, Stanley Renshon. He basically gives shrub a pass.
Rerun from 10-25-04.

1. Dr. Frank is frightened that shrub has his finger on the button. |

I'm frightened as hell too! This moron CANNOT win this election. He'll bring "the rapture" upon this world, but not in the way the Fundies think of it. History will show that the Bush* Administration was the WORST in history and exactly how much he endangered our country. That is IF there's any history to be written. George Bush* CANNOT win this election!

7. It doesn't do much good to ask for help here on DU..... unless |
|
you're solidly middleclass and have all the amenities, you're pretty much out of the loop.
If I can, and if you'd like, I'll try to tape it for you, so you can see it.
Would you like that?

11. I have been rather curt with you tonight, and for that I apologize |
|
However, I think that you may be responding to the pre-election stress as much and as negatively as many of the rest of us. If you go back and look at some of your posts today, I think you will find that many of them have been unusually confrontational, also. No one is immune to this kind of thing.

is not mincing his words on shrubs abilities. he said watching him at the 3 debates was embarrassing. Shrub cannot think....period.
Now about terrorism...
Frank feels good w/Kerry not shrub...if you can't prepare for the flue...how can you prepare for terrorism?
Says shrub has deteriorated since his debate in 94....we here at DU said that.

The idea of Bush stealing the election scares me, but what scares me even more is Bush using nukes,:nuke: thinking he is 'called' to defeat evil or doing it if he feels he will be forced out of power. I hope to any God or Goddess, or Universal being that is willing to listen that somebody steps in and stops him. I think without doubt that Kerry will win as long as he fights their attempt to steal the votes, and fight back  but Bush scares me more than even OBL does. I just have to keep believing that good can defeat evil, even though I've seen the opposite happen in my life far too many times. Man, guys, DU is my security blankie lately,:grouphug: I'm scared to death about this election. (puts on virtual black hoodie) :headbang:

You must: VOTE GET OTHERS TO VOTE then you will have nothing to be scared of. If they want it this time, they'll HAVE to steal it. And this time, we're watching...

13. "Welcome to DU, Pres!" |
|
hey thanks!! :hi: :bounce:
I voted. Dem. Bay area. California. absentee. Kerry! :headbang: I managed to change my neocon best friend's mind and get her to go Kerry after swamping her e-mail with a lot of stuff, most of which came from DU. :D yeah, Kerry will take Calif, but I couldn't stand the idea of my friend voting for Bush, she's normally a bright person. She finally gave in, but won't vote for other Dems. Her main hangup was the abortion issue, since she's more or less a die hard Christian. I told her she shouldn't vote Kerry out on one issue, she had to look at the situation as a whole. More was at stake here than her, or even my morality. I also told her Kerry isn't supporting abortion, just a woman's right to choose.
And yeah, I know, this time we're on their case. I'm Pres, and I'm reporting for duty ! :D

14. tell your friend to check out CEDAW |

Conference to End Discrimination Against Women. Its international, supports all kinds of actions and ideas to help women particularly in 3rd world nations where the consequences of gag rules are gruesome death for women in childbirth. Also supports and strategizes to help end violence agianst women, education for women and girls, etc etc.
Bush sent fundy delegates to their meeting, who blocked the proceedings. Read the details at the site. Anti choice results in more death (of living breathing women, children and infants--due to many factors:closing of women's clinics bars women from vital health care. This increases death and disease numbers. Forcing women to have children they can't afford dooms them to poverty--many already impoverished. This leads to increased death, disease and suffering. Closing down centers for birth control and sexual information results in more abortion not less, only these abortions are the amateur kind. Like women forced by desperation to force sticks into their uteruses, drink bleach, have friends puncture their intestines and kill them because unskilled friend didn't know difference between anus and vagina.
Ask your friend if she believes in thinking through to the effects of any given action. Then ask if these results of "pro-life" ideology seems like a Christian scenario.
Also see PlannedParenthood.com for more factual info. Sadly, fundies hear the word "Planned Parenthood" and flee in terror of the demons they have been indoctrinated to hallucinate, but if you can get her to look at it as a fact source, it will be helpful.
