If a state is close, I go to the state website and keep on hitting refresh. I beat the networks.

I like that idea, TrueAmerican.
Any other suggestions for on-line election night viewing?
C-Span will probably stream it, right? I watched one of the debates that way...

12. If I remember, TDS is live but only from 11 to 12. |
|
I personally don't expect any decision by midnight. That's only 2 hours after the west coast polls close.

4. If Kerry runs away with it, CBS will be best..... |

I loved watching Dan Rather unsuccessfully try to contain his glee when Bill Clinton walked all over Bush I.

not seeing Dan Rather. Last time he put in all those goofy comments like "Katie bar the door...." before stating the return. Even though we didn't get the desired outcome, ( landslide for Gore) it was still entertaining to see what he came up with.

9. I intend to tape Dan Rather for just that reason |
|
This election, Dan has a personal - and recent - reason for acting gleeful when a B*sh loses. ;) He ought to be a huge amount of fun to watch!
Throughout Tuesday evening, though, I intend to surf between C-Span and the networks. If the latter are too over the top (Gee, what are the odds?), I'll stick with C-Span until The Daily Show does its live hour-long show. Hopefully, we'll have something to celebrate by that time. :toast: :toast:

5. PBS - if they have continual coverage |
|
if you haven't noticed, CNN is subtlety slanted and uses the old repub tricks of slanted polls and rigged questioning of their guests and commentators.
