Hey computer folks out there! Is there a way to get Mosh to those on

dial up? I am not asking for myself. I am lucky enough to have DSL, but some of my friends are on dial up and want to down load it without having to wait a millennia, is there anything that you could tell them to help speed up the process?

1. My suggestion...

if your friends are fairly close by and you'll actually see them in person, download it in .avi or .mov format, burn it to disc, and give it to 'em. At dialup speeds it would take MANY hours to download 50-60 MB.

Took less than 3 hours on my dialup, using the broadband link (31 MB). I couldn't get the dialup link to work on my Mac.

Well worth doing.
