Has Bush ever had 70,000 show up for a rally??

I'm just wondering about this.

John Kerry is getting huge numbers at rallies, and he is just a senator.

Has 'President' Bush ... EVER had any rallies with 70,000 people??

And even if Bush has, Kerry has held at least one rally with 120,000 people ..

That’s a 70k rally PLUS a full sold-out football stadium of people added ON TOP of the 70k!!

George Bush cant match that, never has and never will.

George Bush is just not popular with the people, never was and after seeing him in action, damn sure never will be.

Bush used to go to big speeches before military crowds, but the armed services can be reprimanded for not attending and saluting the CiC, that doesn’t count as a public rally.

Has Bush EVER had a rally with more than 10 or 20 thousand supporters???

Best
Kelley

1. Buxh showed up here in NE Ohio last Wednesday....
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 01:05 AM by JohnnyRingo
He drew 10,000 supporters at the reserve base in Vienna.
It was a beautiful warm sunny day, and the news people were advising 'pubs not to come out as it was filled to capacity.

Buxh landed and immediatly went into a hanger where he gave his speech to 1,000 invited voters leaving the bulk of his supporters outside.

Tonight JKerry rallied in nearby Warren to a crowd of 20,000 hopeful Americans:

11. I wonder if the number of 'supporters' was more than the number of ...
... security personnel and support staff. I somehow doubt it.

14. More troops guarded Bush at RNC than in all of Afghanistan!

No kidding!

There were more troops guarding Bush at the convention in New York than the entire US forces in Afghanistan!

8. A half million gathered for Bush in DC
on April 25, 2004 to protest his policies seeking to limit reproductive rights.

Up to a million gathered throughout the country on February 15, 2003 to protest his imminent pre-emptive strike on Iraq. Milllions more gathered throughout the world to protest, too.

And thousands--if not hundreds of thousands--gathered on January 20, 2001 to protest Bush and the Supreme Court that placed him in power.

So yeah, Bush can really draw a crowd, but not throngs of supporters.

9. No, there is not anywhere near that number of brainwashed repukes
within a 200 mile radius of wherever Smirk lands. Most republicans I know barely tolerate him. Smirk will lose because his base does not turn out as they foolishly expect.

Can't wait to see the Fraud from Crawford go down hard on Tuesday.

It will be a Great Day in America.

God Bless John Kerry and the return to integrity in the Oval Office.

15. How could he?
No.
No way.
Know why?

Do you have any idea how long it would take to get 70,000 people to sign a loyalty oath and then get them into the rally?

They would have to start three days ahead of time!

5. Agreed -- it's the uber-security measures that trip them up.
And that must really piss them off, that if they open the doors to anybody who wants to attend, like the Kerry campaign has done, the Naked Emperor might actually have to face some kind of dissenting view on his reign. I honestly think they do that so he won't get rattled at the mike, I don't think they're worried about his physical safety so much as keeping him in the dark. Wonder how loony the guy really is, under those fake working guy shirts? I'm thinking 'carnival of maggots.'

16. No, mostly because Bush-Cheney require...
attendees to donate their hearts to the ticket (for Cheney) and their soul as well (for Bush).
