Christian Voting



My opinion is :When it comes to religion I surely have to cede all matters of the church to those who are in charge of the church.(that goes without saying) I think however that as a good Christian you have to look at the whole picture. And even if it is just because you want to show the world that the U.S.A.(the people) is not as bad as the administration you should as a good Christian vote for Kerry in my opinion. The free will issue aside a Christian should have compassion for the poor, want everyone to have health care, worry about children living in poverty and be against an unjust war.

1. Too many people want to be spoon fed their religion.

They want someone else to tell them what is right & wrong as oppose to having to decide on their own. They do not want to take responsibility for their own life.
I believe that another person cannot "save your soul" that is between each person and their understanding of what ever higher power they believe in.
I have strong spiritual beliefs, but I have always questioned everything.
Actually I think a faith will be stronger if you question what others try to push on you.
