Do Bush and Ridge ever talk to each other?
BBC news item (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/3968841.stm) in which Ridge is reported as saying there was no need to raise the alert level, despite Osama Bin Laden's threat of more attacks: "We are far safer today than we've ever been before". Bush meanwhile "reminded chanting supporters they were "going to the polls in a time of war and ongoing threats". Duh!

1. "Well you know there is really no need to be in Washington. You'd be
amazed what you can accomplish with phones and faxes." - How quickly * forgets his own words.
