A major offensive against Fallujah would certainly detract from other bad news for * as the week begins. In all seriousness, I dread the onset of this military operation. I expect a large number of casualties on both sides along with terrible civilian losses.

I mean there's no way for us to really judge whether this offensive is militarily necessary or might have apositive effects. As individuals without all the facts its hard for us to know. But given the ineptness of this team over the last four years combined with the constant political chicanery it's easy enough for me, at least, to come to the conclusion that this mission is probably politically motivated and will end just like you say, with a lot of civilian casualties and American troop casualties.
