Sideshow Bob = Bush

Anyone see the Simpsons that was run recently where Sideshow Bob (Republican) steals the election from Mayor Quimby? When asked why he did it, Bob said, "Because you need me, Springfield! Sure, your guilty consciences cause you to vote Democratic, but deep down you know you want a Republican to lower your taxes, brutalize criminals, and rule you like a KING!" just before getting arrested.

Reminds me of this race. And yes, as a young, white, slightly asthma stricken (no draft for me), Christian man going into a lucrative sector of society, I'd say it's my conscience that makes me a Democrat. Reminds me that I'll be fine whoever gets elected, but I cannot stand what will happen to minorities and those affected by a fundamentalist theocracy and a growing deficit. Anyone else?
