2. I heard this last night. WHY?
What in heavens name can you do with silly string? I actually understand the jarts. People really got hurt when the tosser had a bad aim. But I'm having a problem understanding just how dangerous silly string can possibly be.

Why are they banning it?

4. It bothers "some people". Stains their Hummers and Lexus's.
Take away their silly string and TP, rocks and firecrackers will return.

17. But silly-string becomes "street napalm"
Spray it at someone, holding a butane lighter under the nozzle to light it and it becomes a sticky, inflamed goo. Nasty stuff.

12. Dealers must have a Federal Firearms License
Go through extensive background checks, maintain their records at all times, and be available for periodic inspections by the ATF at any time.

18. it's those damn liberals!
Actually I blame Henry Waxman. I voted for him anyway. :)

I'll take an anti-smoking Nazi over a real nazi any day.

But the whole smoking thing has been taken a bit too far. I like it that they banned it indoors, that makes sense. But to ban it outdoors? Just silly.

Why don't they ban loud motorcycles, or guys with ripsaws waking me up at 7 a.m. next to my bedroom window?

Or, yes, assault weapons?????
