I'm new, be gentle....
I've lurked for a long, long time. Watched the 60 minutes piece and I'm just beyond disgusted. Why are our soldiers having to take parts off of Iraqi tanks?? How to parents live with this kind of knowledge...or any family member for that matter?
I didn't vote for Bush the last time and couldn't imagine why anyone would but after the last four years....that man has turned us into a banana republic.

...but only a small percentage is going to the troops...contrary to what chickenhawks Bush* and Cheney say. Most of it is going to contractors and Friends of Bush*.
- There are numerous interviews with soldiers returning from Iraq...testifying that Bush's* rush to war left the troops without adequate supplies. They complain of a shortage of everything...from drinking water to armor for their vehicles to inadequate communications equipment.
- The Bush* admin. is blacking out most of the news coming from Iraq and call those who think the troops deserve better traitors. It's sad that they can get away with it because the American media is helping them cover up the truth.
