Dear friends,

the time is almost here. Please go out on Nov 2 and vote your conscience. This is a historic moment, and our decision can change where this country will go, and may well shape the culture in which we and our kids live for a long long time.

I do not want to live in a culture of fear, I do not want to justify to the rest of the world the reckless actions of our President, I do not want to start senseless wars, where lives, be it American or foreign, are reduced to numbers, I do not want any President amending the Constitution to restrict our rights, I do not want to spy on, or be spied on by my neighbors, I do not want to see democracy defeated. I can go on and on. All you have to do is turn on your TV or read a paper to see what's happening.

I don't mean to overdramatize this--but this is big. It certainly is the biggest day of my life, where I feel the future is in my hands. Please go out, vote, and spread the word. As long as people vote, are informed, and do it from their conscience, we're ok. We can't afford apathy.

Yes, I am a liberal, and I respect it if your views differ from mine. And I've never done this kind of thing in my life. Now, however, the times are different. Let's take our country back!
