With Kerry winning the election on Tuesday, will this mean Bush broke Tecumseh's curse? Or does he have until Pres. John Kerry is inaugurated?

He didn't die in office.
Strangely, some religious groups seem both to believe in the curse and think the power of their prayers overwhelmed it. The irony here is just ... beyond description.

The supposed curse was re-worked after Reagan to mean something along the lines of "should have died" since Reagan's injury probably would have resulted in death in Tecumseh's time.
And, again, there are fundie types that are convinced they "saved" Reagan with their prayers. :eyes:
I guess we could look at it this way. Tecumseh's curse is still in full effect, only the real intent of the curse was to cause harm to the American political entity. Reagan and Shrub both did more harm to the country as President than they could have done otherwise. ;-)
