1. They gloss over it quickly...
and explain it as unclearly as possible.

3. Keith Olbermann did a very, very long segment on it.
Went through the entire history and he was having fun doing it. I love Keith.

5. Hope not
I would hope they'll stick to important issues, but I know they won't.

So the Redskins lose today, and we all hope the streak stays alive. But as we've seen within a week, streaks are made to be broken.

The Red Sox, from Boston, end a streak of losing by wining the World Series. Has to be some kind of a good omen for Kerry, right?

But today, the Patriots, also from Boston, end a long winning streak by falling to the Steelers. Is that a bad omen for Kerry?

It's been a week of streak breaking from Boston. Do we see another streak fall?

6. For Those Not Understanding The Redskin Omen....
The Redskins have been 17 for 17 in predicting which party wins the White House.

If the Redskins win their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party stays in power. If the Redskins lose their last home game prior to the election,, the opposing party takes office. This truism goes back to the first term of FDR.

The Redskins played a home game today. They lost to Green Bay.

Hence, Kerry Wins. It's a lock.

Just one caveat. Since the Redskins go-ahead touchdown, with 2:35 remaining in the 4th quarter, was called back due to illegal motion, I suggest you vote for Kerry just to be on the safe side.

7. Tim Russert mentioned it on Dateline
and I believe they also mentioned it on the Nightly News.
