I'm still wanting to get to the bottom of the thing-on-his-back story. I'm suspecting it might be medically-related.

1. He still owes an exam to the TANG, right?
Wrinkles in the shirt, of course.

3. Somebody here posted pic of a portable heart defibrillator
shaped EXACTLY like George's bulge. It's entirely possible that the past four years have taken a toll on his heart, like his Unka Dick's.

4. AFAIK, it's not a legal requirement...
It's completely alright for Bush to have his physical whenever he wants--or not have one at all. The controversy is that he normally gets a physical every August or October, and this is the first year he's failed to meet that self-imposed deadline.

The only thing that could make Bush take a physical is if the media actually made it an issue, but we all know that Cheney's daughter being a lesbian is much more important....

5. if it is a tens unit for back pain
They won't report it. They only report ailments that might require a surgical intervention or loss of life cause of the trasfer of power thing. As a nurse I don't think they should have to report every little thing about the president's health.
