1. I have a feeling they'll be back again in three or so years |
|
But for now they're so desperate that they're buying 30 minute paid programming spots on PAX stations and other networks. :eyes:

2. I knew right from the start what they were.. |
|
They were/are a bunch of 50 60 somethings with boring lives. They got a chance for a "fun reunion".....fly first class, stay in cool hotels, get interviews on TV..and they get to write a book and make a movie..
All they have to do to get all this..and a nifty expense account to boot..Lie about a rich guy they never even knew..
so now it's back to the grind..back to the nagging wives..the money-grubbiing teenagers/twenty-somethings..
back to their boring jobs..
but they had a hell of a ride...tarnishing a hero's reputation is "harrrd work".. and for what?? so a rich-kid slacker who was too chicken to go to Viet Nam, can cheat his way into another job that someone else will do for him...

5. They were all abuzz in Freeperville earlier |
|
about a report on the SmearBoats website that word came from on high to cease and desist on the issue of the "discharge."
I was just about to link to it (had it bookmarked), but the thread has been pulled. At any rate, as much as they tried to deny it, the W.H. was pulling the strings of the whole SmearBoat campaign, and now, for some strange reason (maybe a new strategy for tomorrow), they're calling off the dogs.

but the dumb Freeps just don't want to let it go and are still posting about it, even suggesting that if Kerry is elected, it could be grounds for impeachment. LOL

8. It's just sad that Nixon isn't alive to see this |
|
Considering how much he personally concerned himself with destroying Kerry's future political career in the early days.
